SUSPENSION OF WORK IN GOVERNMENT AND CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS IN METRO MANILA, AND IN THE PROVINCES OF AURORA, QUEZON, RIZAL, LAGUNA, CAMARINES NORTE, CAMARINES SUR, ALBAY, SORSOGON, CATANDUANES, MASBATE, NORTHERN SAMAR, EASTERN SAMAR, LEYTE, AND SOUTHERN LEYTE ON 26 AUGUST 2025
Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, and in view of the forecasted heavy rainfall that will be brought about by the Low Pressure Area and the Souhtwest Monsoon, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Metro Manila and in the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Masbate, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Leyte and Southern Leyte are hereby suspended on 26 August 2025.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.
The localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/work in government offices in other areas may still be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.ℒαwρhi৷
The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
